Snow Moves in for Wednesday Afternoon, Evening

Forecasts call for possible slick driving, but little to no accumulation.

The National Weather Service (NWS) forecast calls for light snow to begin after 2 p.m. Wednesday, possibly starting as late as 8 p.m.. The NWS forecast calls for "rain and snow, mainly after 3p.m. High near 38. Calm wind. Chance of precipitation is 80%. Total daytime snow accumulation of less than one inch possible."

The NWS Forecast for the rest of the week:


Tonight: Rain and snow before 11pm, then a slight chance of snow between 11pm and 1am. Low around 26. Calm wind becoming northwest between 4 and 7 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New snow accumulation of less than one inch possible.

Thursday: Sunny, with a high near 47. West wind between 7 and 10 mph.

Thursday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 28. West wind between 5 and 7 mph.

Friday: Sunny, with a high near 46. West wind between 5 and 10 mph.

Friday Night: A chance of rain and snow showers before 4am, then a chance of snow showers. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 30. Chance of precipitation is 30%. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.

Saturday: Partly sunny, with a high near 35.
