LOWER MAKEFIELD TOWNSHIP, PA —A home in the Farmview development off Dolington Road was destroyed by a fire on Tuesday morning, fire officials said.

The Yardley-Makefield Fire Company responded at 11:30 a.m. along with Newtown Fire Rescue and Upper Makefield Fire Company to the house fire.

While en route, Bucks County Radio informed fire officials that it was receiving multiple calls and that Northampton Rescue 3 and Langhorne E-22 were being added.

Fire crews were told that one occupant went back inside the home. Fire crews located the occupant and removed them from the home where medics transported the occupant to the hospital.

The Lower Makefield Police Department, YMFC Fire Police, Yardley Makefield, and Penndel Middletown EMS also assisted.
