Home Elevation Process Study Planned In Yardley
Residents who went through the FEMA process are encouraged to volunteer for a board that will submit suggestions to Yardley Borough Council.

That process is now under review.

1. Study home elevation guiding documents and FAQs published by other towns. Provide supplemental information from personal experience with the FEMA Grant elevation program. Condense all sources into Yardley Borough specific homeowners guide to home elevations under FEMA grant program.
2. Provide actionable feedback and recommendations to Yardley Borough Council and Staff on FEMA grant elevation program administration in Yardley Borough. Actionable feedback should include process suggestions/clarity issues, communication suggestions, work quality issues, etc.
The ERAB consists of three or five borough residents, appointed by Borough Council, and its chairperson is elected, internally, by members of the board.
The meeting night will be decided once members are appointed and will take place at Borough Hall. The ad hoc committee will conclude its business by Dec. 31.
Anyone interested in volunteering should fill out an application on the borough's website and submit it to Borough Manager Paula Johnson at Pjohnson@yardleyboro.com by Feb. 28.
