Part Of River Road To Be Closed For Paving
A part of River Road (Route 32) will be closed on Friday for paving related to the ongoing bridge replacement project.

LOWER MAKEFIELD, PA — The segment of PA Route 32/River Road near the Scudder Falls Toll Bridge will be closed for most of the day on Friday, Nov. 19, for paving in relation to the ongoing bridge replacement project.
The closure will block commuters who take the intersection of Woodside Road with Route 32/River Road. Drivers that go this way are advised to plan ahead and find alternative routes.
These parts of the road will be closed from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. This is a part of the ongoing Scudder Falls Bridge Replacement Project, which is expected to end around Dec. 3. This will be one of the last pavings in relation to the project.

Detours for commuters will be located near Main Street/Taylorsville Road, beginning at East Afton Avenue. Route 32 in Yardley to the south and Mt. Eyre Road on the Lower Makefield/Upper Makefield township lines to the north.
Weather may affect the times of the operation. Commuters are advised to leave earlier than normal to avoid traffic, as well as to take caution if they have to drive through or near the closed area of the toll bridge.

The closure will not affect traffic on I-295 or the Scudder Falls Toll Bridge.
