The Pennsbury School District has issued a remote learning advisory Tuesday ahead of snow accumulations expected overnight.

FAIRLESS HILLS, PA —With snow accumulations expected overnight, the Pennsbury School District has issued a remote learning advisory for Wednesday.
Schools Superintendent Thomas A. Smith sent an email to Pennsbury families that another round of ice, snow, and freezing rain is forecast for Tuesday night into Wednesday afternoon.
As a precaution, the district is issuing a Remote Learning Advisory for Wednesday.

The superintendent stated that the announcement was only an advisory and that no final decision had been made.
Due to the timing of the storm, Smith said that all Tuesday evening (6 p.m. or later) activities are canceled.

He advised all students (K-12) to bring home their Chromebooks, chargers, and necessary materials needed to participate in remote classes.
School officials said they will evaluate the forecast over the next 24 hours and be prepared for the possibility of a change to our normal schedule, including a delayed opening or transition to remote learning.
Any schedule change will be communicated before 10 p.m. on Tuesday or by 5:45 a.m. on Wednesday. If you do not receive a notification, Pennsbury will follow a normal schedule.
A winter weather advisory is in effect for the Philadelphia region with forecasters calling for several inches of snow.
