Woodside Road Closed For A Week For Milling, Paving

The Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission has closed the road until next Saturday. Drivers are advised to take detours.

YARDELY, PA —The Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission has closed Woodside Road until next Saturday for milling and paving.

The Commission closed the road on Friday, Nov.5, and will work on the road until the morning of Saturday, Nov. 13 at 4 a.m. Friday, Nov. 12 will see a closure from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., followed by another from 6 p.m. to 4 a.m. the next day. The project is being completed under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit.

Northbound drivers will be detoured to Taylorsville Road, Mount Eyre Road and Route 32 (River Road), while southbound drivers will be directed to use Taylorsville Road, Main Street, Route 332 (Afton Road) and Route 32 (Delaware Avenue/River Road).

Extra time should be allowed for drivers who will be near the construction, as traffic is expected as a result.
