Yardley Olde Fashion Christmas Parade To Cause Road Closures

YARDLEY, PA — The Yardley Borough Police Department has announced a traffic advisory for several roads in the area, which will take affect around 3 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 4.

South Main Street, East & West Afton Avenues and Penn Valley Drive will see temporary street closures, parking restrictions, and detours to as the Yardley Olde Fashioned Christmas Parade makes its way through the area.

Anyone that will be traveling in this area during this time should expect delays and plan ahead to avoid it as much as possible, if not find a new route altogether.

Officers from the police department, as well as auxiliary officers, will be escorting the parade during this time, and ask all drivers to slow down in these areas for safety.

The Yardley Olde Fashioned Christmas Parade will begin at 3:30 p.m. and is scheduled to end around 5:30 p.m.
