Forger Loses Bid To Cash In Fake Lottery Ticket: Cops

A Bristol man was arrested in connection with a lottery scam, police said.

A Bristol man was charged with trying to fake a lottery ticket, police said.

Nathan D. Tattrie, 25, was charged with forgery/counterfeiting of a state lottery ticket and giving a false document to a public official.

"Mr. Tattrie was processed at the Lincoln Barracks, where he appeared in front of a Bail Commissioner and was released on $5,000 personal recognizance bail," the Rhode Island State Police said.

State police Maj. Kenneth M. Moriarty failed to respond to voicemail and email messages requesting additional information on Tattrie's arrest.
