'Slight Chance' Of Christmas Snow In Rhode Island

There's a slight chance for some snowfall on Christmas Day in Rhode Island.

The National Weather Service predicted a "slight chance of snow, mixing with rain after 10 a.m., then gradually ending."

The rest of Christmas will be cloudy before gradually becoming mostly sunny with a high near 42 degrees and wind gusts of up to 29 mph.

Christmas night will be partly cloudy with a low around 15 degrees and wind gusts of up to 29 mph.

Friday will be mostly sunny with a high near 26 and wind gusts as high as 21 mph, but more snow is likely Friday night with an accumulation of 1 to 3 inches possible, the National Weather Service predicted.

Friday night's low temperature will be about 18 degrees.

Expect even more snow Saturday with a high of 31 degrees, but that will turn to rain Sunday when the mercury climbs to 39.
