Hammer-Wielding Robber Bludgeoned Lemonade Truck Driver: Report
The lemonade truck driver was 68 years old, according to GoLocalProv.
PROVIDENCE, RI — A 68-year-old man operating a frozen lemonade truck was beaten with a hammer and robbed, according to GoLocalProv.
The man was selling frozen lemonade in Roger Williams Park Saturday afternoon when he was attacked by a pair of robbers, the GoLocalProv story said.
"He said one individual came through the front door and the other climbed over the counter demanding money," according to the story, which said the man was "struck twice in the stomach with a hammer by one of the assailants."
