Among some of the biggest draws in the state are the fireworks at Newport Harbor.

The popular fireworks display takes place July 4.

Of course, there are also the festivities in Providence, which kick off Wednesday, July 2 at 5:30 pm. The event, which will feature family fun, live entertainment, and a fireworks display, is free and open to the public.
