Sex With Animals, Child Porn Charges Land Rhode Island Man In Jail: Reports

The man's bail was set at $130,000, jail records show.

FORT LAUDERDALE, FL — A man jailed in Florida on charges of engaging in sexual activity with animals and possessing child pornography was identified by local media outlets as a Rhode Island resident.

Christopher Andrew Jackman, 32, was arrested Friday by the Coconut Creek Police Department, according to Broward County jail records.

Jackman was charged with 10 counts of possessing child pornography, two counts of sexual activity involving animals and one count of computer pornography. His bond was set at $130,000 — $10,000 for each of the 13 counts.

In the event he makes bond, Jackman must turn over any animals he owns, stay away from children and refrain from surfing the web, according to Miami's WPLG Local10.

"As part of his bond conditions, Jackman was ordered to surrender any animals in his possession, is barred from accessing internet-enabled devices and may not have contact with children," Local10 reported.

Miami's NBC 6 South Florida reported that Jackman was also ordered to wear a GPS if he makes bond.

Both Local10 and NBC 6 identified Jackman as a resident of Rhode Island.
