5 Things to Know About This Weekend

Here are five things you should know about for this weekend in and around Barrington.

1. Mostly sunny to partly sunny over the weekend with temperatures in the mid to high 60s.
2. The Astronomical Society of Southern New England offers an Astronomy Day on Saturday at 1 pm for solar viewing and at 9:30 pm for lunar viewing at the Town Hall on County Road.

4. Holy Angels church, 341 Maple Ave., serves up a May Breakfast on Sunday from 8 to 11:30  am in the lower church hall; $8 for adults.
5. The Nayatt School PTO hosts a pasta dinner on Sunday from 2 to 7 pm as a fundraiser for the rebuilding of the playground in memory of Emma Ferreira, a longtime teacher's aide at the school; $10 a ticket.
