Barrington Beach will be reopened today for swimming.
The RI health department gave the beach a clean bill of health late Thursday, July 25, after the latest water test indicated a significant drop in bacteria levels.
“The sample was clean and we can reopen,” said Barrington Recreation Director Michele Geremia.
