Funeral Set For Barrington Police Sgt. Gino Caputo
Sgt. Caputo, 58, of Johnston, died Saturday after a five-week-long battle with COVID-19.

BARRINGTON, RI — Barrington police Sgt. Gino Caputo's funeral will be held at 9:30 p.m. Thursday, police said Tuesday.
Caputo, 58, of Johnston, died Saturday after a five-week-long battle with COVID-19. He was a 27-year veteran of Barrington's police force.
"The members of the Barrington Police Department are very grateful for the outpouring of support and condolences from the public and our brothers and sisters in law enforcement, following the death of our own Sgt, Gino Caputo," Barrington police said in a statement.

The funeral will be held at Nardolillo Funeral Home and Crematory at 1278 Park Ave. in Cranston, followed by an 11 a.m. mass at Holy Ghost Church in Providence. Visiting hours are 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., Wednesday. The burial will be at St. Ann Cemetery in Cranston.
