'Kidlympics' Back at High School Track

The Red Brick School hosts a track and field event for kids ages 3 to 10 at Barrington High School on Saturday afternoon, April 27.

“Kidlympics” is back.

The primary fundraiser for the Red Brick School in Barrington returns to the high school track tomorrow, April 27, from 3 to 6 pm.

Kids ages 3 to 10 can compete in six track and field events, including the 50-meter dash, softball and Frisbee throws, and a long jump.

Healthy snacks and foods will be available as well, and you can try your luck at a silent auction with a host of fitness-oriented prize baskets from the school's community sponsors.

You can register your children online until noon today or sign them up on the day of the event.

The registration fee is $20 per child online and $25 on the day of the event. Every child who registers will get a T-shirt, a scorecard and a goody bag.

Bring a non-perishable food item for TAP-IN and you will get a free raffle ticket.
