Here are a few things to know about today, Jan. 24, in and around Barrington:

• The boys’ and girls’ swimming teams at Barrington High School travel to Rhode Island College for a meet with La Salle Academy at 6:30 pm.
• The Barrington High School girls' basketball team hosts North Kingstown High at 7 pm.
• The girls’ indoor track team at Barrington High travels to the Providence Career and Technical Academy for a dual meet with Coventry High School at 5:30 pm.
• The Barrington High School boys’ ice hockey team travels to Levy Rink in Burrillville to tangle with Mount. St. Charles Academy squad at 6:30 pm.
