• Grant money would expand splash pad at Barrington park (eastbayri.com) — Barrington officials are pursuing two state recreation grants to overhaul Kids Kove Playground and expand the splash pad at Police Cove Park, projects totaling nearly $1.2 million. If the grants come through, the town will still need to line up matching funds, and residents could see a modernized, more accessible play area and new multigenerational wellness path near the library and senior center.
