Police Drop Alcohol Charge Against Man, 19
The Sweetbriar Road man had been charged with providing vodka to teens, including a girl, 15, who suffered alcohol poisoning.

Barrington police have dropped charges against the young man, 19, who allegedly provided vodka to five teens – including a girl, 15, who had to be rushed to the hospital for suspected alcohol poisoning.
William A. Restituyo, of 17 Sweetbriar Road, was charged on Aug. 19 with violating Rhode Island’s social host law for providing vodka to a group of teens who gathered in the woods behind Primrose Hill School.Â
Police also said he was uncooperative at first during the investigation into the incident. Restituyo reportedly later provided additional evidence about the incident, which led the police to drop the charges, according to the Barrington Times.
