See 'Honey We Shrunk Ourselves' Today in Barrington Library

Scattered thunderstorms forecast; summer family film series; Rotary Club meets; get museum passes, website committee gathers.

Here are five things you should know about today in Barrington:

  1. Sun with scattered thunderstorms and humid with a high temperature near 82 degrees.
  2. The Summer Family Film Series: I Love the ‘90s continues in the Barrington library auditorium at 7 pm with "Honey We Shrunk Ourselves," starring Rick Moranis as a scientist, Wayne, who shrinks himself, his brother and their wives in this 1974 flick.
  3. The Barrington/Warren Rotary Club meets every Tuesday at 6:30 pm at the Wharf Tavern, 215 Water St., Warren. 
  4. Have you discovered the 16 different museum passes available at the library for some summer fun, such as the Providence Children’s Museum, the Roger Williams Park Zoo, Mystic Seaport and the RISD Museum of Art; all are sponsored by the Friends of the Barrington Public Library.
  5. The Barrington website committee meets at 6 pm in the Barrington library board room.
