She left the shop and visited a friend at the Tockwotton on the Waterfront senior citizen facility in East Providence. He apparently followed her into the parking lot there in a pickup truck.
She then reportedly drove to the Shaw’s in the Barrington Shopping Plaza. He did, too, according to the woman's report to the police.

While on the way to Barrington, the woman called her husband to meet her in the plaza parking lot. Her husband confronted the man about following his wife before the man drove away in a dark-colored Toyota Tundra pickup truck. The couple did not get the number on the license plate, police reported.
The couple said they were staying with friends in Warren. Police put out a be-on-the-lookout (BOLO) for the truck in Warren and East Providence. It was not located.
