Friday, Apr. 19 —
Earth Day, Pt. 1: Children's Workshop in Warren hosts an Earth Day Celebration today starting at 4 pm. They'll be raffling off trees and other green things. Free. Call (401) 247-2503 for more information.
Earth Day, Pt. 2: There's a tree planting scheduled at today, the final day of this week's Vacation Camp. Acttivities, games, and face-painting are also scheduled. Day rate $35 members, $45 non-members, $25 for half-day program.
Earth Day, Pt. 3: Roger Williams Park Zoo wraps its Party for the Planet today with Lite Rock 105 and 92 PRO-FM and a huge environmental fair including the Rose Island Lighthouse, Save the Bay, the University of Rhode Island, and more. 11 am to 3 pm. Adults: $14.95; Children (ages 3 through 12), $9.95.
