The Bristol Police Department reported the following recent arrests and incidents:

  • Joshua Dorsey, 30, of 21 Harvest Drive, Portsmouth, on charges of DUI and refusal to submit to a chemical test, on Apr. 11 at about 2:30 am. He is due for arraignment in Sixth District Court, Warwick, on Apr. 17.
  • Amanda McNulty, 23, of 31 Constitution St., on a charge of domestic assault, on Apr. 11 following a report of a disturbance on Constitution Street at about 4 am. She is due for arraignment in Sixth District Court, Warwick, on Apr. 24.
  • Robert Muggle, 30, of 293 State St., on an active warrant issued by Sixth District Court for failure to appear at a payment review on a charge of driving with a suspended license, on Apr. 11 at about 12 pm. He was also sought by Providence Superior Court for failure to appear at a restitution review on charges of driving with a suspended license and leaving the scene of an accident, injury resulting.
  • Meryl McGaw, 29, of 38 Steven St., Tiverton, on two counts of assault and one count each of resisting arrest and disorderly conduct, on Apr. 12 at 6:30 pm. Bristol Police reported that McGaw screamed and spat at police, removed her clothing in the holding cell, and repeatedly slammed her head against the wall. She is also awaiting trial on felony charges of drug possession and disorderly conduct brought by Newport Police. She is due for arraignment on the new charges in Sixth District Court, Warwick, on Apr. 24.
  • Robert Lake, 56, of 49 Sherman Ave., on a charge of domestic assault, third offense, on Apr. 12 at about 9 pm. He was ordered held without bail at the Adult Correctional Institutions, Cranston. In a separate hearing, he was presented as a bail violator stemming from a July 24, 2012 no contest plea. He is also awaiting trial on charges of illegal shellfishing brought by the Rhode Island Department of Environmental Management. He is next due in court on Apr. 29.
  • Kenny Savinon, 32, of 5 Greenway Drive, on charges of domestic assault; drug possession and intent to deliver marijuana, and simple assault, on Apr. 12 at about 11:55 pm. He was ordered held without bail until a trial on the assault charge and a bail hearing on the other three charges, both scheduled for Apr. 29.
  • Robert Audet, of 117 Water St., Warren, on an active warrant issued by Sixth District Court for failure to pay court costs imposed in two previous cases. According to online court records, Audet appeared in court and paid the fines in full.
  • Rollin Karnehm, of 30 Monterey Road, on charges of disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, and simple assault, on Apr. 13 at about 7 pm after a bartender at the DeWolf Tavern told officers that Karnehm had pulled out a knife. He is due for arraignment in Sixth District Court, Warwick, on Apr. 24.

  • Officers responded to Sowams Road on Apr. 8 at about 7:30 pm for a report of a great Dane found on the property. The dog's owner was reached and went to the scene to retrieve the dog.
  • An English bulldog was reunited with its owner on Monterrey Road Apr. 10 at about 7 am after a nearby resident reported finding the dog on their front steps.
  • A resident of High Street reported the recent theft of a television and X-Box game system on Apr. 11 at about 1 pm.
