Friday, Apr. 19:

- 4 pm: Earth Day Celebration at The Children's Workshop in Warren. Win a tree to plant or other green and growing things. Free.
- 7 pm: Evening Service for Boston at St. Michael's Episcopal Church in Bristol. Reflections, meditations and prayers.
- 7 pm: Open Mic Night at The Coffee Depot, Main Street, Warren. Take the stage and play, sing, or recite your heart out. Free.
- 7:30 pm: Avenue Q performed at Roger Williams University. Described as Sesame Street for adults. $10 per person. Also on Apr. 20 at 7:30 pm and Apr. 21 at 2 pm.
- 8 pm: Vintage Soul at Not Your Average Bar & Grille, Child Street, Warren. Oldies, R&B, Motown and dance. Free.
Saturday, Apr. 20:
- 8 am: Annual Tent Sale at Jamestown Distributors on Peckham Drive in Bristol. Seminars, demos, and full USCG inspections.
- 9 am: Earth Day Recycling Event at the East Bay Chamber of Commerce, Child Street in Warren. Accepting electronics, mechanical items and boxes of documents to be shredded. Limit 4 boxes per famliy. Suggested donation $2 per box.
- 11 am: Fish Filleting Demo at Mount Hope Farmer's Market. Folks from The Local Catch will offer tips and trick for how to prep fish. Free. While you're there, check out the fresh produce and other local items for sale.
- 12 pm: RhodyWed at Simply Devine in Warren. Billed as "Rhode Island's newest indie wedding showcase," the event features local vendors to help make your wedding fun. $10 online, $15 at the door.
- 5 pm: Pasta and Fish Dinner at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church in Bristol. Baked scrod, pasta with red clam sauce, salad, soda, coffee and dessert, all for $12 per person. Chicken nugget dinners for kids available for $5. Proceeds to help cover this year's parish feast in July.
Sunday, Apr. 21:
- 6 pm: Parenting Support Group at St. Michael's Episcopal Church in Bristol. Free; donations to the East Bay Food Pantry are appreciated. Childcare available with two-day advance notice. Please call Jennifer DeWolf at (401)935-3359 or contact by e-mail jenmarkdewolf@aol.com for more info.
