CENTRAL FALLS, RI — The City of Central Falls is hosting a Housing Resource Fair on July 24 to help residents and landlords connect with important resources and programs, the Office of Mayor Maria Rivera has announced.

Rivera said the fair is timely because the CDC’s ban on evictions will lift on July 31, and families throughout the city continue to face housing challenges ranging from affordability to childhood lead poisoning.

“Housing is a top priority of mine, particularly as we’re nearing the ban on evictions being lifted and our rates of child lead poisoning have doubled during this pandemic,” Rivera said in a statement. “It’s important our community is connected to plenty of programs, resources, and application support to help with their important housing security and safety needs.”
