Central Falls Murder, Kidnapping And Conspiracy — 8 Charged
The Central Falls police failed to provide any information on how the young woman was killed or what the motive was behind her slaying.
CENTRAL FALLS, RI — Eight men and women were charged in connection with the murder of a Warwick woman found dead in the woods in Pawtucket last month but the Central Falls police failed to provide any information on how the young woman was killed or what the motive was behind her slaying.
"No further details will be released regarding this investigation to maintain integrity and help ensure the successful prosecution," the Central Falls Police Department said in a media release regarding the arrests made in connection with the killing of 24-year-old Erica Bader.

Bader was found dead Oct. 27. Shortly after, six — Joshua Brunelle, 35, Christopher Kordalewski, 22, Elizabeth Durand, 41, Andrew Cornell, 28, Stephanie Bletzer, 37, and Brittney Terpening, 34 — were charged with failing to report her death.

Terpening was also charged with domestic felony assault.
All but Kordalewski were charged this week with murder, kidnapping and conspiracy, the Central Falls police said in a media release.

Kordalewski and two others — Joanne Miller, 26, and Cheryl Blakely, 36, face charges of kidnapping, conspiracy and failure to report a death, according to the release.
Bader "loved music and was often found singing at the top of her lungs," according to her obituary.

"She took pride in making sure her nails were always done just right and enjoyed riding her bike around the neighborhood," the obituary said. "Erica had a passion for taking photos and staying connected with her friends through social media, which she updated often. When she wasn't online, Erica loved visiting Taco Bell, and watching her favorite TV shows and movies, she especially loved anything and everything that was Stitch from Lilo & Stitch."
