Central Falls Retaining Wall Collapses, Families Displaced
Saturday's heavy rain caused a retaining wall at Brook Street to give way.

CENTRAL FALLS, RI — Two families were evacuated from their homes on Saturday after a retaining wall collapsed during a period of heavy rain.
The wall at the end of Brook Street collapsed around 3 p.m. Saturday and firefighters knocked on doors and told two families they would have to leave for now, ABC6 reports.
Engineers will evaluate structural integrity issues relevant to nearby homes over the next several days.
