CCFD Board of Directors Candidate: Daniel Lantz
Daniel is one of 12 candidates vying for a seat on the Central Coventry Fire District Board of Directors, which will be decided with an all-day vote on June 29.

Dan Lantz of 34 Kelly Lane has been a Coventry resident since 2011 and is running as one of the six Taskforce-endorsed candidates for the Board of Directors.
A retired transportation supervisor, he is a newcomer to elective office, but became involved with fire district issues after the mismanagement at the CCFD became evident.
“I don’t think the fire district ever really saw itself as working for the residents of Central Coventry," said Lantz. "No complaint about the services, but the district’s management seemed totally out of control, and didn’t see itself as reporting to anyone. We need to fix that, and that’s why I am running."
The Special Election will take place from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday, June 29, 2013, in the Town Council Chambers at the Coventry Town Hall (1675 Flat River Rd.).
