Coventry Man Dies After Being Hit By Car
Police say the victim, a 63-year-old Coventry man, was ruled dead at the scene of the crash.
COVENTRY, RI — A 63-year-old Coventry man died Saturday after being hit by a car, according to police.
Coventry police said they were called to Nooseneck Hill Road near Harkney Hill Road around 9:35 p.m. for a report of a man being struck by a car. When officers and firefighters arrived, they found a man on the side of the road, who was ruled dead at the scene.
Police identified the man as Michael Danielson.

Police said the driver remained on scene and cooperated with responding officers.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
