Felony Break-Ins, DUI, Shoplifting: Coventry Court Log
The following cases were heard in Kent County District Court this week.

The Coventry Police Department reported the following court cases heard in Kent County District Court this week:
Steven Costa, 25, of 30 Arlee St., Warwick, pleaded no contest to disorderly conduct. He was sentenced to six months of probation and a no-contact order was filed. Two counts of simple assault were dismissed.
Melody Johnson, 50, of 321 Cowesett Ave., West Warwick, pleaded no contest to obtaining money under false pretenses. She was sentenced to one year at the Adult Correctional Institutions, suspended, plus probation and costs.

Adam Lawrence, 22, of 15 Sandy Bottom Road, Coventry, pleaded innocent to charges of domestic assault domestic malicious damage and domestic disorderly conduct. The charges were dismissed.
Shara J. Mello, 31, of 12 Turner Drive, West Warwick, pleaded no contest to shoplifting. She was sentenced to one year at the ACI, suspended, plus probation. A no-trespassing order was issued.

Michelle Perras, 45, of 7 Crossen St., West Warwick, pleaded no contest to shoplifting. She was sentenced to one year at the ACI, suspended, plus probation. She was also ordered to obtain counseling.
Jessica Quiros, 37, of 10 Hymer St., 2nd Floor, Providence, pleaded no contest to shoplifting, obstruction and conspiracy. The case was filed for one year and the conspiracy charge was dismissed.
Anthony Brice, 46, of no permanent address, entered no plea to a felony charge of attempted breaking and entering. He was released on $5,000 surety bail until an Attorney General screening conference on May 2.
Christopher S. Chappell, 47, of 24 Laurel Ave., Coventry, pleaded innocent to charges of disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. He was released on $1,000 personal recognizance until April 13.
Daniel Koehler, 28, of 132 Woodbine St., Pawtucket, pleaded innocent to failure to return rental property. He was released on $1,000 personal recognizance until April 13.
Christopher Noel, 34, of 28 Richar St., Cranston, entered no plea to three counts of felony breaking and entering without consent. Bail was set at $20,000 with surety and he is due to return to court on April 25 for a screening conference.
Ryan P. Rue, 30, of 2 Linwood St., West Warwick, pleaded innocent to driving under the influence and simple assault. He was released on $1,000 personal recognizance until April 13.
Peter M. Tenney, 46, of 31 Chester St., Woonsocket, pleaded innocent to three counts of breaking and entering without consent. Bail was set at $20,000 with surety until an April 25 screening conference.
