Best Day Ever! Ok, I might be biased BUT, I personally think that today is the best day ever because it is my birthday!!! (Actually, it's the second anniversary of my 25th birthday if you want to get technical...no need to get any older than 25, I say.) Happy Birthday to me! Ok, now go about your day. 

Community Garden Help: The Coventry Community Garden, organized and overseen by longtime resident Gail Tatangelo, is in great need of volunteers to assist with planting, weeding, watering and harvesting through the summer months. If you're interested in volunteering time to the garden that provides healthy food to Coventry residents in need, email Gail at gail660@verizon.net. Feel free to stop by the garden across from Town Hall to lend a hand!

Fireworks Donations: Yes, Coventry's Annual Johnson's Pond 4th of July Fireworks Display is tomorrow, but members of the Johnson's Pond Civic Association who put on the beloved spectacle still need your help! Due to the combination of rising costs and declining contributions, the display has been reduced to some extent for the past two years and is in jeopardy of repeating the trend. CPL Summer Reading: July 6 is the last day to register for Coventry Public Library's Summer Reading Program, "Dig Into Reading". Children entering grades 1-5 may register online at www.coventrylibrary.org or in person. CPL librarians will track summer reading progress, offer crafts and hold special performances and events throughout the summer. Call 822-9102 for more information.
