Five Things, July 5: Artisan Applicants, Summer Reading and More
Today is Friday, July 5, 2013 and here are five things you should know about.

Artisans and Crafters: The Friends of the Coventry Public Library are now accepting applications for artisans and crafters for the 3rd Annual Fall Artisan Fair to be held on Saturday, Oct. 5. Contact Virginia at lynchkids96@verizon.net or call (401) 826-1122 for an application or more information.
Editor on Vacation: The Financial Town Meeting is over, school is out, and the CCFD board election is behind us - which means that it's about time for me to hide my laptop and take some much-needed vacation time. I will be away from Patchlandia starting July 1 and will return on Tuesday, July 9. Meanwhile, please contact Field Editor Erin Tiernan who is taking the reins this week at erin.tiernan@patch.com.

Community Garden Help: The Coventry Community Garden, organized and overseen by longtime resident Gail Tatangelo, is in great need of volunteers to assist with planting, weeding, watering and harvesting through the summer months. If you're interested in volunteering time to the garden that provides healthy food to Coventry residents in need, email Gail at gail660@verizon.net. Feel free to stop by the garden across from Town Hall to lend a hand!
CPL Summer Reading: Tomorrow, July 6 is the last day to register for Coventry Public Library's Summer Reading Program, "Dig Into Reading".
