COVENTRY, RI — The following people were arrested by Coventry police between July 23 and Saturday.

Names of those arrested, their age, or the town they reside in were only omitted when not provided by police.

July 23

7:55 a.m. — Frederick Vaughn, 32, of Coventry, was charged with duty to stop for an accident resulting in injury and driving with a suspended license.

5:27 p.m. — Raymond Chapman, 29, of West Greenwich, was charged with reckless driving and driving with a suspended license.

July 24

1:22 a.m. — Michael Brodeur, 49, of Coventry, was charged with obstructing a police officer.

1:41 a.m. — Areana Briggs, 21, of Providence, was charged with violating a protective order, obstructing an officer, and possession of scheduled narcotics.

July 25

2:06 p.m. — Cynthia Salgado, 28, of Pawtucket, was charged with shoplifting.

2:20 p.m. — George Morgan, 27, of Pawtucket, was charged with shoplifting.

July 26

8:03 a.m. — Jessica Dinitto, 44, of East Providence, was charged with violating a no-contact order.

3:39 p.m. — Veronica Bassett, 37, of West Warwick, was charged with fraudulent use of a credit card and larceny.

11:30 p.m. — Joseph Dias, 47, of Coventry, was charged with domestic simple assault.

Saturday

1:20 a.m. — Anthony Barreto, 50, of West Warwick, was charged with DUI (first offense) and refusal to submit to a chemical test.
