Mary E. Lemoi (Jemery), 97, of Knight Street in Coventry, passed away at home while surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, July 21, 2013. She was the wife of the late Peter E. Lemoi.
Born in Cranston, RI, Mary was a daughter of the late Edmund and Margaret (Sullivan) Jemery. She was the mother of Peter Lemoi of Coventry; Patricia St. Jean of Hagerstown, MD; Margaret Laferriere of West Warwick; Michael Lemoi of Aurora, CO; James Lemoi of Coventry; JoAnn Bourque of West Warwick; Raymond Lemoi of West Warwick; and the late Robert Lemoi and Paul Lemoi. She had 31 grandchildren and is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Madeline Butler and William and George Jemery.
Mary loved music and dancing. She also liked to sew, knit, crochet, cook and care for her family.
Memorial services were held Thursday morning at Iannotti Funeral Home in Coventry, followed by interment in SS Peter & Paul Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to Gentiva Hospice, 2374 Post Rd., Ste. 206, Warwick, RI 02886 are appreciated.
