Police Identify Man Hurt In Tiogue Avenue Crash

COVENTRY, RI -- Coventry police have released the name of the man seriously hurt in a collision with a building at 477 Tiogue Ave. He is Brodrick Bedard, 22, of Coventry. He is reported in stable condition at Rhode Island Hospital.

The accident happened around 11:23 p.m. Thursday, police said. Bedard's truck caught the corner of the building, the former Benny's store and now the E-Z Grow Supply. He was the only person in the pickup. Police and firefighters said the crash partly ejected him from the truck.

The accident is still under investigation, police said.
