Search For Missing Coventry Man Ends Sadly: WPRI-TV
Frank Bergheimer's body was found about a mile from where he was last seen, according to Channel 12.

COVENTRY, RI — State police on Tuesday afternoon cancelled the Silver Alert for missing Coventry resident, Frank Bergheimer. The police issued a statement to thank people who shared the silver alert and said the alert was cancelled but did not elaborate. WPRI-TV is reporting the body was found in woods about a mile from where the 81-year-old was last seen. Click here for the complete story.
Bergheimer was reported missing on April 4. He was last seen near the Park 'n Ride on the New London Turnpike in West Greenwich. West Greenwich police, state police and the state Department of Environmental Management searched the area. But the official search was suspended Friday night. Volunteers continued looking until his body was found.
