Back to School Supplies: If you have kids in one of our town's elementary schools or at ASFMS, chances are you'll need to stock up on school supplies before summer ends. Here at Coventry Patch, I'm compiling lists of required and suggested supplies from Coventry teachers just in case your copy at home goes missing, but I could use your help! If you've received your child's supply list, feel free to email a copy to lauren.costa@patch.com or even send a picture message of the list with your phone to (401) 369.1676 so that I can share it on Patch. Greene Farmers Market: Skip the grocery store tonight and pick up some fresh veggies, breads and pies at Greene Library's Farmers Market! From 4-7 p.m. each Tuesday through September, the Library (179 Hopkins Hollow Rd.) will host the community market that also offers plants, original craftwork and more. If you would like to become a vendor or need more details, call the call the library at 397-3873 or contact Gail at gail@coventrylibrary.org. 

Steak Fry Reservations: Make your reservations by Wednesday to grab your seat at the Coventry Men's Club Steak Fry, scheduled for Friday, Aug. 16 at 7 p.m. $12.99 per steak dinner, $10.99 per chicken dinner. Call 385-3536 for reservations.

Plan Ahead - Applebee's Job Fair: Applebee's of Coventry, located at 830 Centre of New England Blvd., will hold a Job Fair on Saturday, Aug. 24 at 9 a.m. Management is currently accepting applications for all positions at various Applebee's locations.
