Woman Caught With 77 Grams Of Cocaine: Coventry Police

Coventry police say Joann Falconer, 45, of West Warwick, was caught with the cocaine during a traffic stop last month.

COVENTRY, RI — A West Warwick woman was arrested in Coventry after she was caught with 77 grams of cocaine, police said Friday.

Joann Falconer, 45, was charged with possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance.

Police said they pulled over Falconer on Sept. 20 for traffic offenses, and the officer discovered the drugs in her car.

"This seizure is a prime example of the dedication and diligence of our patrol officers who work tirelessly to ensure public safety, and it underscores the department’s continued efforts to keep drugs off the streets," Capt. Ryan DeSisto said.

Falconer was arraigned in Third District Court and was ordered held without bail.
