2 Elderly Women Injured After Crash Into House In Cranston: Report

Cranston police say the driver struck a sign on Reservoir Avenue before her vehicle spun and hit a nearby home.

CRANSTON, RI — Two elderly women suffered injuries after they reportedly crashed into a house in Cranston on Thursday night.

Cranston police told WPRI 12 the two women were on Reservoir Avenue, when the driver lost control and struck a sign. According to police, the crash caused the vehicle to spin and crash into a nearby home.

Police told NBC 10 the car hit a gas meter, dislodging it from the home.

Both women were reportedly taken to Rhode Island Hospital. The extent of their injuries is unknown.
