Back To School: Cranston 2023-24 School Calendar

CRANSTON, RI — Back-to-school planning has already begun in Cranston, with calendars available to help parents prepare for the first day in the Cranston Public School District.

The first day of school for most students in Cranston is Sept 1.

Heading into the upcoming school year, some dates are subject to change. Here is the list of dates to know for this school year:

Cranston Public Schools

First Day: Aug. 31 for kindergarten and grades one, six, and nine. Sept. 1 for all other grades

Thanksgiving Break: Nov. 23 and 24

Winter Break: Dec. 25 through Jan. 1

February Vacation: Feb. 19 through Feb. 23

Spring Break: April 15 through April 19

Last Day: June 11.
