Canceled, Delayed Flights At T.F. Green Airport After Holidays

Dozens of flights heading into and out of Rhode Island were delayed or canceled following the long New Year's holiday weekend.

WARWICK, RI — Rhode Island's only major airport saw some post-holiday headaches Monday, with several delayed and canceled flights both arriving at and departing the airport.

As of Monday afternoon, more than a dozen arriving flights had been canceled, along with several delays. The departures board showed a similar situation.

John Goodman, a spokesperson for Rhode Island T.F. Green Airport, told Patch that he wasn't aware of any airport-wide issues that could be behind the delays. Instead, they are on an airline-by-airline basis, he said.
