Crack Manufacturing, Domestic Violence: Cranston Police Logs
Here's some of what Cranston police have been up to in the past few days.

CRANSTON, RI — Over the past few days, Cranston police have arrested several people on charges of manufacturing and delivering crack cocaine, domestic assault, shoplifting and domestic disorderly conduct.

Around 10 a.m., police arrested Aileen Santana, 29, of Carr Street when she turned herself in on charges of domestic simple assault, domestic vandalism and domestic disorderly conduct.

Around 10:30 a.m., police arrested Angel Liriano Jr., 29, of Farmington Avenue after a call for service at his home. He was charged with domestic simple assault, domestic vandalism and domestic disorderly conduct.
Around 11:45 a.m., police arrested Amanda Verria, 33, of Putnam Street, Providence, was arrested after a call for service at the Job Lot at 1441 Elmwood Ave. She was charged with shoplifting and conspiracy.
Wednesday, Jan. 9
Around 6:30 a.m., police executed a search warrant at 262 Smith St. As a result of the warrant, they arrested Herman Pugh, 73 of the same address. He was charged with manufacturing/possession/delivery of crack cocaine, possession of Xanax, possession of arms by a convicted felon, use of a firearm while committing a crime of violence and maintaining a common nuisance/controlled substances.
Around 6 p.m., police in a narcotics investigation at 85 Briggs St. (Knightsville Manor) arrested Andy Melgar, 21, of Miller Avenue in Providence. He had two active warrants and was also charged with four counts of manufacturing/possession/delivery of crack cocaine, two counts of reckless driving/drag racing/eluding police and one count of driving with a denied, suspended or revoked license.
