CRANSTON, RI — Before the evidence goes up in smoke, the police hope someone can identify a suspect who's allegedly been stealing cartons of cigarettes. The thefts happened last summer at the Rite Aid, the Cumberland Farms and the Walgreen's pharmacies. The suspect was caught on camera, police said. He has a pony tail but sometimes puts his hair up in a bun. Anyone with information is asked to call 401-942-2211, ext. 5147.
