Cranston Cops Searching For Landscaping Equipment Thief

CRANSTON, RI — The Cranston Police Department is searching for a man they say stole landscaping equipment from a truck early Sunday.

The crook struck shortly after 2:30 a.m. in Knightsville, police said, stealing a weed whacker, leaf blower and gas can from a parked truck, then walking off on Cranston Street.

The police department asked anyone with information about the theft to call the detective division at 401-942-2211.
