Cranston East-West Thanksgiving Football Game Moved To Wednesday

The change in the annual high school football game at Cranston Stadium is due to rain in the forecast, school officials say.

CRANSTON, RI — The annual Thanksgiving football game between Cranston High School East and Cranston High School West has been moved to Wednesday night.

The change in schedule is because of rain in the forecast for Thursday, which would interfere with the efforts of the two school bands, color guards, and parade of students, school officials said.

Kickoff for the game is scheduled for 6 p.m. at Cranston Stadium. The student parade will take place before the game at 5:40 p.m.
