Cranston Man Drag Raced, Drove Recklessly Or Eluded Police: Cops
The Cranston man was apprehended by the Intelligence Unit, police said.
CRANSTON, RI —A Cranston man was charged with possibly drag racing, police said.
Jason Rodriguez, 35, was arrested Wednesday by the Rhode Island State Police Intelligence Unit, the state police said in a media release.
Rodriguez was charged with reckless driving or drag racing or eluding police, and obstruction of an officer in the execution of duty, according to the release.

"Mr. Rodriguez was taken into custody and later arraigned in Third District Court, where he was presented as a bail and probation violator," the release said.
The state police release failed to provide a location for where they claim Rodriguez was either drag racing, driving recklessly or eluding police. State police Lt. Col. Robert Creamer and the state police legal office failed to respond when asked for the location of the alleged offenses.
