Cranston Man Killed In Friday Crash On I-295
The driver, Hamad Manj, 20, faces charges, police said.

CRANSTON, RI — Chaudhry S. Talib, 20, of Cranston, died early Friday in a crash on I-295. Two other people were seriously injured, state police said. The accident happened around 1:20 a.m. when the car went off the road near Scituate Avenue and hit a tree.
The driver, Hamad Manj, 20, also of Cranston, and another passenger, whose name is not being released, were taken to Rhode Island Hospital with serious injuries. Talib also was taken to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead. All three people were wearing seatbelts.
Manj has been charged with driving so as to endanger, resulting in death, and driving so as to endanger, resulting in personal injury.

"The crash remains under investigation by members of the State Police Scituate Barracks, Forensic Services Unit and Collision Reconstruction Unit," state police said.
