CRANSTON, RI — A Cranston man recently won $20,000 on a lottery ticket, Rhode Island Lottery officials said Monday.

Lottery officials said the man won the money playing the Rhode Island Lottery's Bingo draw game. He wagered $2 and won by matching the diamond pattern.

Lottery officials said the man will use a portion of his winnings towards his mortgage, and he will share some with his children and grandchild on the way. He also said the Bingo game has been a source of entertainment and amusement.
