Cranston Road Rage Arrest Of Warwick Man: Cops

The Warwick man was also charged with throwing articles at moving vehicles, police said.

CRANSTON, RI — A Warwick man was arrested just after midnight Monday in connection with a "road rage incident," police said.

Nicholas Mongeau, 29, was charged with reckless driving, disorderly conduct and throwing articles at moving vehicles, according to the Rhode Island State Police.

"The arrest was the result of a road rage incident that occurred on Route 295 in the City of Cranston," the state police said.

Mongeau, a resident of Algonquin Drive, was "transported to the State Police — Headquarters for processing and held pending morning arraignment at Third Division District Court where he will be presented as a probation violator," according to police.

State police Capt. David Bassignani failed to respond to messages requesting further information on Mongeau's arrest.
