Cranston Woman Cited After Crash Injuring RI State Police Trooper
A Rhode Island State Police trooper was taken to Rhode Island Hospital in Providence with minor injuries after a crash in Johnston.

JOHNSTON, RI — A Cranston woman was cited Tuesday after Rhode Island State Police said she struck a cruiser and injured a state trooper.
State police said the crash happened around 3:10 p.m. on Route 6 eastbound in Johnston at the top of the Hartford Avenue on-ramp.
According to state police, Eneye Ayeni, 24, lost control of her Honda Accord about 300 feet from a state police cruiser and then struck it from behind.

The trooper was taken to Rhode Island Hospital in Providence with minor injuries and has since been released, state police said.
State police said Ayeni declined treatment on scene and was cited for violation of the "move over" law and conditions requiring reduced speed.
